BOE PUBLISHING

BOE Publishing has an excellent 26 year history of providing bespoke products to the NHS. Currently operating in several hundred hospitals and departments across the UK.

BOE is the market leader in bespoke publishing for the acute services.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Since we started working with hospitals in 1991 we have always looked for innovation in order to improve the products and services we offer, and not just for innovations sake.

Starting out producing bespoke Patient Information Cards, it was clear that the hospitals wanted our services to expand to fulfil other publishing needs.

We introduced our Protocol Manuals service, producing tailored guidelines for junior doctors, to help in the training aspects of the first year students in the Emergency Department environment. We expanded this to include Induction Manuals, ENP Guidelines, Nursing Guidelines, Major Incident Plans and Health Competency Records.

OUR SERVICES

BOE prides itself on our responsive quality service. We work exceptionally hard and treat every customer as our only customer.

Why Choose BOE?

BOE is all about service. Headed up by the Managing Director, the team ensures that you are stocked with the product, and works with you to ensure the product you have is the best it can be. For Patient Information Cards the team will liaise with clinical and communications and BOE’s internal studio to ensure the content is both clinically correct and conforms to the corporate image.

The EST (External Services Team) will also keep you informed on the usage, monitoring ordering and stock levels, to make sure the resource is properly utilised. The EST will also help co-ordinate the introduction of our other products, to ensure your time is spent where it needs to be – on the front line.

MEET THE TEAM

Dedicated to meeting the needs of your business

Anthony Mowatt

Chairman

The MD may get the glory, but leading the board is an increasingly important role, requiring subtlety, maturity and an iron grip on the agenda.

Wayne Dore

Managing Director

Wayne took over the mantle of Managing Director in 2011, previously being the Marketing Director for 15 years. Running a tight ship, he's taken BOE through thick and thin.

Interesting fact:
Wayne can do 19 push ups in a taxi!

Paul Goldstone

Operations Director

Working for BOE since 1996, Paul started his career in the Art Studio,  working his way up the ladder, to Studio Manager then to Office Manager and in 2011 was made a Director of the company.

Still wishes he had long hair... but has traded it in for the shirt and tie!

Peter Page

Service & Contracts Manager

Peter joined the company payroll in 2009 and usually manages to stay clear of BOE by working from home in Kent.  He looks after the hospitals south of the Midlands.

He also knows most GreggsTM locations between Torbay and Birmingham.

Gina Broad

Senior Accounts Handler

Fully qualified MAAT affiliate member and Part Qualified CIMA; Gina joined us in 2010.
She's responsible for the companies finances, sales and relationships with our clients.

Pauline Wildon

Operations Manager

Pauline started with BOE back in the late 90's and has proven invaluable ever since.
She's responsible for the day to day administration and running of BOEs Print Studio.

Responsible for keeping us all in line, and not afraid to tell you when you're wrong!

Jack Westbrook

Production Executive

Jack Joined BOE in 2008 as an underpaid apprentice primarily in admin and typesetting. He's since been promoted to Production Exec, and deals with design, marketing and print production outside of BOEs usual (day to day) NHS work.

John Bingham

Graphic Artist

John joined us back in earlier days when BOE was  in it's infancy. A specialist in desktop publishing his knowledge of programs like Corel Draw and InDesign is legendary.

He still remembers using a floppy disks to load his artwork and the 32 mb hard drives we used to have! He's been here so long now, he's become part of the furniture.
